InterEcoBroom is a genuine broom manufacturer: we grow and source sorghum, sort the fibre and bind every broom by hand in our own workshop in Moldova. Because we own the full production chain — from field to finished product — we control quality at each step and ship a product that matches specification order after order. Buyers deal with the factory directly, not a reseller, which keeps pricing transparent and lead times short.

What we manufacture

• Classic 3-stitch broom — traditional triple-stitched sorghum broom, 450–500 g.
• Braided premium broom — hand-braided broom with a decorative handle, 500–600 g.
• Car broom — compact broom for car detailing and tight spaces.
• Artisan custom broom — produced to the buyer's specification: size, weight and branding.

Orders can mix models freely, and custom branding is available for private-label programmes.

Manufacturing and export terms

Minimum order is 5,000 pieces. Delivery basis is FCA Chișinău (Incoterms 2020), with a production time of 10 days from order confirmation. Every export shipment includes a full set of documents and a phytosanitary certificate, all built into the unit price — no separate line items and no hidden costs. This makes customs clearance and goods acceptance across the EU straightforward.

Who we supply

As a Moldovan broom manufacturer we supply wholesale distributors of household and cleaning goods, importers, buying groups and DIY chains with a household aisle throughout Europe. We work strictly B2B, in batches from 5,000 pieces; we do not sell single units at retail.

Sustainable by nature

European retail is moving steadily away from plastic toward natural materials, and the sorghum broom fits that shift perfectly. It is fully biodegradable, contains no synthetic fibre and sheds no microplastic. For a distributor that is more than compliance with retailer sustainability expectations — it is an extra selling point, because shoppers perceive a natural broom as a higher-quality, more honest product. Tightly bound sorghum fibre also resists shedding in normal use, so a natural broom lasts longer than cheap plastic alternatives, reducing returns and improving repeat sales at retail.

How a sorghum broom is made

Making sorghum brooms is skilled manual work built on a long-established process. After harvest, the sorghum panicles are dried, cleaned of seed and sorted by fibre length and thickness. A craftsman then forms a bundle of the required weight, draws it tight and stitches it — on the classic model, three rows of strong stitching that hold the shape for years. Braided models call for a separate skill: the handle is woven by hand, making each broom effectively a one-off. This process cannot be fully automated without losing quality, which is why a hand-made natural broom outperforms stamped synthetic alternatives.

Quality control and private label

Every broom passes a visual check for even stitching, bundle density and the absence of brittle fibres, so weight and appearance stay consistent across a batch. Packaging is tailored to the channel — bundles of 25 or 50 units, transport wrapping, custom labelling and barcodes — and for private-label programmes we apply the buyer's own branding. A full truck holds up to 118 m³, allowing mixed loads to be optimised per order.
